The shortest Annapurna Base Camp Trek Itinerary is a minimum of 6 days, but it can be stretched to 12 days including the Poon Hill Trek and Mardi Himal Trek. Annapurna Base Camp Trek is known as ABC Trek or Annapurna Sanctuary Trek. ABC Trek starts and finishes at Pokhara. Annapurna Base Camp trek also connects to Khopra Ridge/Danda Trek. Annapurna Sanctuary Trek takes you to the Shangri-la of Annapurna where you are amazed by the scenery and beauty of Mt Annapurna and Machhapuchhre. The shortest way follows the Modi River via Syaulibazar, Jhinudanda, Chhomorung Daurali, and MBC (Machhapuchhre Base Camp) and Annapurna Base Camp. This trek offers geographical variation from 800m to 4130 m with a huge variety of vegetation and wildlife, cultural variation, and lifestyle.

First, few days of the trek you will find warm weather, rice terrace fields, and mixed villages where people engage in different activities. As you climb up, the weather becomes cooler and you can observe the millet terrace fields with mixed crops and Gurung People and their stunning villages with unique lifestyles. The natural hot spring at Jhinudanda, the stunning view from Chhomrong village, the waterfall, the rocky landscape of Daurali, and MBC-the gate of Annapurna Sanctuary are the daily highlights of the Annapurna Base Camp Trek.

8 Days Annapurna Base Camp Trek adds another world-famous Poonhill View Point which is the cherry on the cake—diverting direction from Birethanti, walking through small Hamlet witnessing the Bhurundi River, and passing through the mix of Gurung and Magar village is a perfect beginning of the trek. Stopping at Tikhedhunda and climbing the thousands of stairs to the Magar village Ulleri warm up for the trek.
