Ghorepani -Aus B Camp trek is one the most famous leisure trek of Annapurna Region. It is a short trek .The main attraction of trekking Poonhill (3210m) from where we can see view breathtaking view of Dhaulagri(8167m),Nilgiri(),Tukche(),Gurja Peak() (via poonhill) Annapurna I(8091m), Gangapurna (), Annapurna III(), Machhapuchhre (6993m), Hiuchuli(6441m) , Annapurna south (7219m) and Aus- base camp .During the this trek we get opportunity to explore the Forest side of full Rhododendron,Oak Tree,beautiful Birds, Flower with the beautiful magar and gurung villages, houses, local lifestyle and their culture.

Itenery

Our company representative or your trekking guide will pick up from your hotel at 6:30 am and escort you to the tourist bus station. The bus to Pokhara leaves at around 7:30 am & arri- ve about 3:30 pm.
We begin our trek at Hille after about 2 hours and 30 min drive on a private vehicle from Pokhara. After a short 15-minute walk along the rice field and beautiful village we reach Tikhedhanga where you have a rest and lunch there. After lunch, we move on towards the steep climb to Ulleri about 2 hours and 30 min, a large Magar village at an altitude of 2,070 m. The trail ascends more gently from this point, through village and towards Banthanti at 2,250 m and we spent overnight at there.
From Banthati, the trail ascends more gently through fine forests of oak and rhododendrons towards Nangethanti at 2,460 m. After an hour walk from Nagnethanti we arrive at Ghorepani (2,870 m).We have a short rest and we hike towards Poonhill(3210 m ) to see sunset & magnificent mountain view and overnight at Ghorepani.
Today, very early in the morning, we start an hour hike to Poon Hill at an elevation of 3,210 m, a brilliant mountain range spectacle; this vantage point provides an unobstructed view of the sunrise over the high Himalayas. There we spend about some hour and returning to Ghorepani, we take a hot breakfast. Then we make a climb along ridges, and through pine and rhododendron forests, towards Deurali (2,960 m). Overnight at Daurali
The glorious morning view and delicious breakfast we start our trek to Chuile. After the 2:30 min decend from tadapani we reached amazing viewpoint Tadapani . we will stop here an hour for tea and picture . And we will decent 1 hour down to our final destination Chuile.
After the delicious breakfast at our hotel we will start our trek to Choomrung. Walking through the pure Nepali village , terrace field , Himalayan mixed forest and rivers ,waterfall ,funna and flora give you a extra pleasure and joy. After walking about 4 hour we will arrived a beautiful terrace gurung village Chommrung.
Our spectacular breakfast start at about 7 am with Himalayan coffee front of Annapurna and angel mountain Machhapuchhre. When we finished our breakfast and packing we start our trekking to Landruk. After an hour decent we will arrive Jhinudanda where hot spring lies.We also can spent some time. A 3 hour walking from Jhinudanda along the glacier malting river Modi khola we will arrived a pure Gurung village Landruk.
We will finish our morning breakfast at our hotel and we start trek to Aus camp. Walking through village and forest make you a fresh mind and joyful body.And this is lovely trail during our trek. After walking about 4 hour we arrive at Aus camp.
After our picturesque time and delicious breakfast we start our trek to Sarangkot. We trek an hour decent to Kande and take a texi to Sarangkot. After arrived Sarangkot we will have good lunch and shower and explore the village near viewpoint.
We will have breakfast at hotel after finishing the walking around and take a car to back to Pokhara and start our day tour at pokhara. This tour will give a taste of Pokhara. In the afternoon visit Stupa, Davis –fall, Gupteshwor cave, international mountain museum and the Barahi Temple. Note: If you like to do Paragliding ,Bunjee Jump, Zip-flyer, Mountain flight ,Hot air Balloon etc you should let us know before 1 day ago .Then we can manage time and arrange it.
This day we will drop at Pokhara airport as your flight schedule. And you will pick up at Kathmandu airport and drop to hotel. Over night at hotel in Kathmandu.
Our airport representative will drop you at International airport as your flight schedule.

What kinds of equipment need?


The following gives you a general idea of the trekking equipment and clothing needed for this trek.
This is a porter-supported trek. Two clients share one porter. We will supply you a trek duffel bag where you keep your heavy items and this bag is carried by the porter. You will need to bring your own daypack to be carried by you. In the daypack, you can put money, important documents, water bottle/bladder, camera, toiletries, sunscreen, notebook, etc.
The weight limit for the porter is 20 kg. 10 kg for each client. So, we recommend you to pack as carefully as you can and not exceed the weight limit. You can leave your non-trekking stuff in the Kathmandu and Pokhara hotel.
• 4-season sleeping bag (You can hire sleeping bag at pokhara and Kathmandu but has to be returned after the trek.)
• Potter bags (We will provide one complimentary Potter bag which 70 to 80 liters.)

Note: Tight fitting, figure-hugging clothing such as those made with Lycra can often be offensive to locals, especially to women. If you find these items comfortable as a base layer, please pack something to wear on top of them.

Risk & Responds


High Altitude Treks: Risk and Response A high altitude trek calls for an adventurous attitude, but embarking on an adventurous trip without calculating the risks is utter stupidity. That’s why we have listed a few risks and the response planned by Go The Himalaya (GTH) to minimize or address the risks in the best possible way.
1) Risk: Acute Mountain Sickness(High Altitude sickness)

Before you start the trek, it is important to understand the implications of high altitude on your body. Be aware of symptoms of AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness) like mild headache, nausea and general discomfort etc.
Response:
If you feel any of these symptoms, inform the trek leader or your guide on priority and follow his instructions. Every campsite has a first aid kit, (oxygen cylinders: almost everywhere) to address the situation . If situation is getting worse then the guide or team leader inform us and we send rescue Helicopter as soon as possible.
2) Risk: Weather

Weather is unpredictable in the Himalayas. Though we are always observant about the changing weather, no one can guarantee a snowfall, rain or Sun. Do understand that your security is of utmost importance to us and we will not proceed any further from the campsite if the weather is not favorable.
Response:
The decision of the Trek Leaders and Guides to proceed or wait for the weather to get better will be final.

3) Risk: Injuries Often,

While trekking over difficult terrains, you might have minor injuries like leg sprain, bruises etc. Serious injuries like fractures or major cuts are very rare.
Response:
All our guide are trainer of First Aid . They are trained to handle emergencies and can tackle minor injuries with a first aid kit. In case of serious injuries, the patient is carried on a stretcher to the nearest road-head or charted helicopter and is led to nearest medical centre.
